Sarp Kerem Yavuz creates contemporary artworks and collectible objects using LEGO bricks as a building medium. Spanning large-scale mosaic compositions, sculptural pieces, and functional objects, the works explore the intersection of contemporary culture, craftsmanship, and Turkish visual heritage.
Inspired in part by the geometric traditions of İznik ceramics and Ottoman decorative arts, these works translate historical patterns and motifs into a contemporary visual language. Alongside wall-based works, the collection includes true-to-scale skateboards and handcrafted backgammon sets assembled from LEGO® elements, blurring the boundaries between fine art, design, and play.
Each piece is assembled by hand from thousands of individual pieces and produced as a unique work or in limited editions. The resulting works have been exhibited internationally and collected by private collectors interested in contemporary art, design, and unconventional materials.
