LEGO Iznik Tiles

Since 2017, Sarp Kerem Yavuz has been working with pixel art and LEGO bricks to create pixelated iterations of traditional Turkish tiles found in baths, mosques, and palaces throughout the Ottoman Empire. In recent years, he has furthered this exploration by introducing handwoven rug motifs into his LEGO-based works.
