Maşallah Wows in Istanbul

During the 11th Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair, Yavuz Gallery presented a selection of the latest works from the Maşallah series, in a solo booth co-designed by Sarp Kerem Yavuz and architectural designer Omer Pekin.

The solo presentation was met with tremendous interest, with artnet writing:

Halfway through the first public day, Singapore’s Yavuz Gallery was overjoyed to have sold out of their solo booth of Turkish artist SARP’s rather homoerotic photographs of naked men covered with Islamic iconography (...) twice over.
